Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move materials safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trucks and containers following proper stacking and weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet productivity targets
- Participate in continuous training programs to enhance operational skills
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – we provide comprehensive paid training!
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment background check
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new equipment and processes
