Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload shipments and organize inventory in designated storage areas
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory counts
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience requiredâcomprehensive training provided
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license (must pass company forklift certification)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
