Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check, receive, and stock inventory to ensure proper placement and tracking.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring cargo is handled with care.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (Class 1, 3, or 4) required; training available for the right candidates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) is a plus but not mandatory.
