Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check stock, organize inventory, and maintain records of stock movements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse managers and team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Certification: Must be willing to obtain a forklift operator license/certification upon hire.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on safety and accuracy during material handling.
- Availability: Reliable transportation and availability for full-time shifts (Day or Night shifts available).
