Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functionality.
- Accurately document loads, shipments, and inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification test (we offer training for qualified candidates).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weight management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
