Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Accurately scan and verify inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Assist in the organization of pallets and storage racks to maximize warehouse space.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding daily priorities and any potential safety hazards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety procedures and documentation.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidates.
