Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to move, locate, and stock materials efficiently and safely.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and report any mechanical malfunctions immediately.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Perform regular inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification test and possess a valid operator license.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and counting.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions (warehouse environment).
