Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment
- Load/unload trucks and move materials to designated storage areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – we train all new hires!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver's license (commercial license not required initially)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification through our program
- Positive attitude and reliable attendance record
