Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory counts and assist with warehouse organization to maximize space utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping and receiving targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Document inventory movements and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Participate in continuous training programs to enhance operational skills and safety certifications
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – we provide comprehensive paid training
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Valid driver’s license (Class A or B preferred but not mandatory)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification through company-sponsored program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
