Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive sit-down and reach forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock locations are organized.
- Material Handling: Stack, palletize, and shrink-wrap products to ensure safe transport.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Overtime Support: Assist with peak season loads and extended shifts when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for the forklift license.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Attitude: Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts.
