Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in a neat, orderly, and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Prepare and stage pallets for shipping and delivery in a timely fashion.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and order priorities.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety instructions and logs.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
