Responsibilities
- Order Accuracy: Efficiently pick and pack merchandise from shelves based on pick tickets, ensuring the correct items are selected and packaged.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects or damage prior to packing and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Inventory Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas organized, clean, and safe to prevent accidents.
- Shipment Preparation: Properly label packages, apply shipping labels, and prepare items for outbound delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and quotas.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform bending, twisting, and reaching motions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment and shipping.
- Reliability: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; a strong work ethic is the primary requirement.
- Communication: Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety protocols and instructions.
