Responsibilities
- Select and pick merchandise from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure quality control standards are met before packing.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate handheld scanning devices and computers to verify product accuracy and update inventory systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
