Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before and after each shift and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Organize and maintain inventory by stacking products accurately and securely on pallets.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and quotas.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, etc.) is required.
- Previous warehousing or logistics experience is a plus but not always required for immediate hires.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
