Responsibilities
- Coordinate expedited domestic and international shipments via air, ground, and rail carriers
- Monitor shipment tracking proactively and resolve transit delays in real-time
- Prepare and process customs documentation for cross-border shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate rates for urgent shipments
- Maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations for hazardous materials
- Generate shipment reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder preferred)
- Certified Customs Broker or equivalent trade compliance knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping regulations
- Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field required
