Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Efficiently load/unload shipping containers and trucks using proper rigging techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Train new operators on equipment safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in busy environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Preferred: Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
