Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory with millimeter precision
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Train new operators on equipment handling and safety procedures
- Support warehouse cleanliness initiatives and 5S compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience (sit-down/stand-up)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current operator license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent spatial awareness and depth perception abilities
- Strong communication skills for team coordination
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
