Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution setting
- Load/unload trucks and pallets with precision using proper lifting techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records via WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow optimization
- Operate powered pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
Qualifications
- 1+ years of recent forklift operating experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory counting
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- WMS system knowledge preferred
