Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse settings
- Load/unload freight trucks with precision using pallet jacks and rigging equipment
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in warehouse cleanup and organization during downtimes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 6 months)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Prior experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
