Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Accurately inventory and transport raw materials, finished goods, and hazardous materials
- Maintain detailed electronic and physical logs of all material movements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Perform daily pre/post-shift equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience (counterbalance, reach truck, order picker)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Successful completion of pre-employment background/drug screening
