About the Role:
We need a reliable Forklift Operator to manage material handling operations with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Your expertise will ensure efficient warehouse operations while maintaining a secure work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials and products
- Load/unload trucks and containers with proper weight distribution
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse workflows
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- 2+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Proven ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled warehouse environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
