Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Accurately manage inventory using barcode scanning systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in receiving, stacking, and order fulfillment processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Experience in warehouse/distribution environments preferred
