Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in monthly training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and valid California Driver's License
- Proven ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts and inventory codes
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional spatial awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in varying temperatures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
