Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation compliance (Bills of Lading, customs forms, CMRs)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve transit discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and port authorities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in port environments
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Deep understanding of INCOTERMS 2020 and customs regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish language proficiency highly desirable
