Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order processing, documentation, and carrier selection
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and traceability
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time shipment tracking updates to clients
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Implement and maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or warehouse logistics
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, IATA, customs procedures)
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with carriers and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
