Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and cycle checks in cold storage zones
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety standards
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Perform quality inspections on incoming/outgoing products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics
- Maintain clean and organized work areas per OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to train)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
