Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move materials by hand, hand truck, forklift, or other material handling equipment.
- Inventory Control: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, damage, and conformance to specifications.
- Picking & Packing: Select and pack items for orders accurately and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and prepare necessary shipping documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized and clean to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not always required.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
