Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Accurately track inventory using warehouse management systems and digital scanning tools
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards and optimize workflow
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate material movements and meet production targets
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as required
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience in temperature-controlled warehouse environments preferred
