Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Load/unload trucks with precision while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new hires on safe material handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
