Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the forklift to ensure safety compliance.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately sorted, palletized, and stored according to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily quotas efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Log inventory movements and report any damaged goods or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating a forklift (counterbalance or reach) is required.
- Current Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and forklift handling procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging inventory data.
