Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts (Class 1, 3, or 4), pallet jacks, and scissor lifts to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper dock safety protocols and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Paperwork: Complete daily logs, safety checklists, and inventory reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety procedures.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic English reading and speaking skills required to understand safety instructions.
