Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and yard areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and records using warehouse management software.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to organize stock and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
