Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Operate pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- 1+ years of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of safety standards and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Clean background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
