Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct regular pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Sort, stack, and stage inventory with precision to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes and improve overall productivity.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and document any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (valid license required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and tracking.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
