Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to 5S protocols for organized workspace efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Complete safety documentation and incident reports as required
- Train new hires on safe material handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
