Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport goods within warehouse and dock areas
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Load/unload trucks and organize pallets in designated storage zones
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
