Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory using scanning systems and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet productivity targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in unloading trucks and organizing storage areas efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- 1+ years of forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
