Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move raw materials and finished products efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows and meet production targets
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to 5S safety protocols
- Train new team members on safe equipment operation procedures
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating powered industrial equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Proficiency with warehouse technology (RF scanners, WMS software)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
