Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials safely
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Manage inventory scanning and documentation in WMS systems
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for timely loading/unloading
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols at all times
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screen
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
