Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Organize and secure warehouse storage areas for optimal space utilization
- Assist in training new operators on equipment and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience (valid OSHA certification required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in busy environments
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
