Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move pallets and inventory safely
- Inspect machinery daily and report maintenance needs to supervisor
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records using digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in warehouse organization and space utilization improvements
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of warehouse/forklift operation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
