Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
