Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and stocking of inventory to ensure proper stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in safe working order and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders according to shipping labels and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent).
- Experience: Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety when handling inventory.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential overtime and weekend shifts.
