Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Load/untract trailers and containers with precision using dock equipment
- Train new operators on safety procedures and operational best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Minimum 2 years experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in warehouse inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination
- Clean driving record and valid NY state ID
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
