Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Manage inventory receiving, storage, and distribution with precision
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean workspaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily productivity targets
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (e.g., sit-down, reach, order picker)
- Familiarity with WMS software and inventory control procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
