Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with precision using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow efficiency and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Train new hires on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience with valid certification (OSHA/Forklift License)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Proficiency with warehouse management software and digital inventory systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
