Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory through accurate scanning and documentation in our WMS system
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize storage layouts and workflow processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols including proper PPE usage and spill prevention
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
