Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to load/unload trucks and move inventory
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Organize warehouse storage areas for optimal space utilization
- Assist in training new team members on safety and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
