Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
- Load and unload trucks while maintaining proper stacking and securing of goods
- Accurately track inventory movements and maintain detailed records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas and workspaces
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to read and interpret shipping labels, invoices, and inventory reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
