Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor to maintain safety standards.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for any mechanical issues and report necessary maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
